Student/Internship Placements
The primary goal in offering the internship is to train future psychologists who are competent in providing clinical services to children, adults and their families. Using a mastery model of training, students/interns gain experience with diverse health-care issues, and have opportunities to work with children / adults with medical diagnoses not often encountered in other settings. At the same time, the student / internship program provides training in broad-based skills of assessment, consultation and treatment.
